The 2025 diocesan Women's Spring Retreat will take place on April 25-27 at Camp Pringle. The theme is "Still I Rise." The facilitator will be Rev. Jacqueline Stober, Senior Associate at Christ Church Cathedral, and the spiritual director will be Rev. Colleen Lissamer, rector of St Matthias, Victoria.

Jacqueline Stober

Born in Liverpool, UK, Jacqueline originally moved to Victoria in 1986, but returned back to the UK in 1998. She originally trained as a high school science teacher, and later retrained to teach elementary and then literacy support working mainly with dyslexic children across the age range. During that time she discovered her vocation and was ordained in 2007. Jacqueline served in a variety of contexts across the northwest of England. In 2022, Jacqueline had a chance to come back to Victoria for a sabbatical, and felt God inviting her to return and minister in the same place where her vocation story began.

Colleen Lissamer is an experienced spiritual director and retreat facilitator, currently serving as rector of St. Matthias Parish, Victoria. She is a participant in the world-wide Northumbria Community and has a special interest in Celtic spirituality. She is inspired by the writings of Thomas Merton, Barbra Brown Taylor, and Cynthia Bourgeault among others, and is committed to the practice of centering prayer.
